Rob Lindsay is a lifelong athlete with a background rooted in performance, discipline, and accountability. His experience spans wrestling, martial arts, multi-sport endurance challenges, bodybuilding, and powerlifting, each shaping his understanding of what it takes to perform under physical and mental stress.
Rob served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he operated as a Machine Gunner, High-Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Instructor, and Martial Arts Instructor. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to service by becoming an EMT and later a Law Enforcement Officer.
With over 15 years of experience coaching fitness and mindset, Rob has worked with a wide range of individuals- from high school athletes and competitive performers to everyday adults who had gradually deprioritized their health and capability. His coaching philosophy is built on structure, execution, and sustainability, not quick fixes.
Rob has also been instructing firearms for over five years, training alongside and learning from world-class instructors. He currently holds an A-Class classification in USPSA, reinforcing his belief that fundamentals, consistency, and accountability matter more than ego or trends, especially in the Military and First Responder World.

ASSETS ONLY was not built from theory, it was built from experience.
After graduating the police academy, Rob was operating at what felt like his peak. He had earned multiple commendations in the Marine Corps, finished at the top of his EMT class, and served as a Lieutenant during his academy training. Physically sharp. Mentally confident. Fully invested in his capabilities.
Then injuries accumulated. Mental health challenges followed. For the first time, Rob felt like a liability instead of an asset.
That period forced a hard realization: achievement does not make you immune to setbacks. Discipline can erode. Structure can disappear. And without systems in place, even highly capable individuals can slowly lose control of their health, confidence, and identity.
The principles that rebuilt Rob mentally and physically are the same principles that became the foundation of the ASSETS ONLY PERFORMANCE PROTOCOL.
The process was simple, but not easy:

Remove unnecessary friction
Install repeatable habits
Build standards that hold under pressure
The result wasn’t just improved fitness or performance. It was a complete lifestyle shift that translated into every area of life: decision-making, confidence, resilience, and execution.

I signed up for Rob training program because people I work with did previously and their results were amazing. In the beginning Rob was very attentive. He listened to my goals and very quickly came up with a plan very quickly. At first I was skeptical, if I'm being honest, going from eating two meals a day to almost twice that but my body adjusted. I got up with Rob in 2024 and this was life changing I always worked out but in no direction! Rob’s the shit taught me a lot about working out and laid a program out to the exact T TO WHAT I was looking for!! All three. Our curriculum is principle-based, not job-title based. While tactics may scale based on role and legal authority, the fundamentals of shooting, movement, and mindset remain universal. Civilians train within legal self-defense parameters, while professionals train within their operational scope.
Will this training actually make me more effective in a real situation?
